The House of Martell is proud to announce that for the 2019 edition, the 43 members of the judging panel awarded the double gold medal to Martell VSOP Red Barrels, Martell VS Single Distillery, Martell Cordon Bleu and Martell XO.
The Gold Medal to Martell Cordon Bleu Extra and the Silver Medal to Martell Blue Swift
With 4 Double Gold Medals showcasing quality of the highest order, the House of Martell demonstrates its savoir-faire in crafting the finest cognacs with passion and generosity.
The Double Gold Medal is awarded to the very few entries that receive Gold medal ratings by all members of the judging panel. These are considered as exceptional spirits that set the standard for their category.
ABOUT THE HOUSE OF MARTELL
Martell, the oldest of the great cognac houses, was founded by Jean Martell in 1715 at the height of French art de vivre, when gastronomy, taste and craftsmanship were celebrated and enjoyed with style. These became the three pillars of the House of Martell and remain intrinsic to the Martell vision today. For three centuries, Martell has produced, exported and marketed cognacs which are recognized worldwide for their outstanding quality and finesse, obtained through double distillation of exclusively clear wines and aging in fine-grained oak casks.
